they are trying to do the same to me... not sure if this is a "big clean up" for the JW's... I feel your pain I go thru the same feelings do I fight or not?! I don't believe there crap but at the same time don't feel they have the right to get in my life!!!

Medical treatments you (or others) put off for the "Noo Sistum"
by darthfader inon another thread i stated that i didnt get braces for my teeth as a child as my parents believed that the ns would be here soon.
i am very glad that i did it as an adult.

I got braces as an adult and the CO wife said "so that means you can have straight teeth during the Great tribulation" in a sarcastic tone... note that was 8 years ago and doing so helped my self esteem greatly!!!

I told an elder... long story... that was trying to help me this... That I am now happy I love myself for the first time and i now know Jehovah loves me... so that is why I'm not going back!!! Yes it is a great empowering feeling to not feel beat up, judged, looked down on!!!

The book,In Search of Christian Freedom
by pat1060 ini have been reading the book in search of christian freedom by r franz.i just finished the chapter on the house to house ministry....unbelieveble.
he shows a totally different way of explaining the scriptures.i never realized how much the gb slants every thing to it's teachings.they need the nwt to do this.if you haven't read this book,you really should.what i'm wondering if you have read it,what stands out for you.....

no one can adhere to all of the theocratic rules of the organization and they know that.
i believe jws do things to ease their consciences.

my EX always wanted mine! I never trusted him and would never give it! Now my real husband has all my passwords but could care less!!! once in a while i'll ask him to read something but he always has to ask me again what the password is... I have his but only check if we are looking for a specific e-mail and i don't open it... i just say "hey check your e-mail you got something".....

i never did, even 18 months ago it would have seemed impossible, unthinkable.
even though looking back the seeds of doubt had been sown for some time, i just never allowed myself to think about them... vvv dangerous thing to do!.

No... but after reading for a while i started to notice those that leave are not "crazed animals with horns" we are good people and just trying to enjoy life like God intended us to live... the word apostate is so ingraned that even after not believeing it was hard to look up anything anti - JW but so so so glad i did!!! lol to all of you!
